What is
recruitment?
Recruitment is the process of finding suitable candidates for your clients. Recruitment agencies focus on a particular sector (IT, Legal, Finance) and help businesses within that sector secure suitable candidates for their business needs. (Growth etc.)
As an example, you might be partnering with a start-up FinTech company looking to help them build out their sales division.
You will be responsible for building relationships with both candidates and clients that will mostly be via cold-calling, email, and social media (LinkedIn)
The role as a Recruiter can be varied. Some of the tasks you would expect to complete on are a daily basis are:
- Engaging and headhunting candidates via LinkedIn and the phone
- Cold calling clients to win new business
- Client and candidate meetings
- Arranging interviews with candidates and clients
- Prepping candidates for interviews
- Negotiating terms of business
- Process and offer management
